It is cold and grey outside, I really need these days some vitamin boost. I need a good red smoothie!
I think red fruits are my absolute favorites. Somehow these lovely colors make a simple and easy smoothie look so special. The beetroot gives a little earthy taste to this sweet drink, plus brings its super health benefits too. Beetroots contain iron, magnesium, vitamin C, A and B6. It is also full with powerful antioxidants, which reduce your blood pressure and the risk of heart attacks. So give it a try and drink yourself healthy!

Ingredients
- 200ml grape juice
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 handful of frozen raspberries
- 1 small beetroot
- 1 tbsp chia seed
- water or coconut water
Instructions
- Peel the beetroot and cut into small pieces. Put in a blender with all the other ingredients and blend until smooth.
- Add a little water coconut water if it would be too thick for you. Enjoy!
